Hate Rising is a storytelling event that will focus on the experiences of transgender veterans and the current climate across the country for the transgender community. We will hear from members of our community about their experiences in service prior to and after open service for binary trans folks, from transgender veterans who came out after service, and from veteran families with transgender children fighting an uncertain future for their kids.
Join us as we engage with advocates, community leaders, and activists on how we can rise above hate, how allies can hold space for the trans experience, and the impact of the anti-trans policies on our country and community.
